Great holmertz 2019-02-22 0:43

Hello Benny,
A good photo from a fine position. The former mosque doesn't look bad, but I like even more the sun reflected in the small waves and the small persons (so they seem) walking across the square in the strong light. Yes, the harbour area is very pretty but also VERY touristy. It's a place where I rigorously avoided the restaurants offering tourist menues. There were much better places in the dull backstreets a few blocks away. As usual.
Best regards,

Cool To holmertz: touristy

100% right, Gert. We spent three days there and always went for smaller restaurants in the backstreets. I remember one small, vegetarian place which was really, really good. The places in the harbour are OK for a drink, but you pay for the view.
