Peter! Love the moodiness of this shot. There's a sense of impending disaster here. It's the same feeling you've given you're last couple shots. Hey what's your PP secret on these?

Default To RandomCameraGuy: PP secrets

Not much of a secret here.
To create the mood in all of them my mind set was that I will show something that may be quite far from what my eyes saw. What all of them have in common as far as PP is concerned is(apart from all the usual; levles, usm, saturation etc):
1) to achieve darker and brighter areas in the image I have used gradient tool in various modes (darken, colour burn, colour dodge)and opacities. This is mostly done by trial and error.
2) at the end all have applied photo filters (image>adjustment>photo filters); again this was by trial and erros. I feel that after applying gradient tool in some cases the colours are in some cases way too strong, photo filters IMO help to keep the image together if you know what I mean. In this case for example I felt that adding a bit of green ( and probably something else, forgot what was done) will work well with the power plant.

The images called "in the water" and industrial pollution" have been painted with paint brush in colour burn or dodge in various spots.

All shots were taken in good light conditions just before the sunset.

So there you have it.
Peter
