Photographer's Note

what else could I name it? I took this this afternoon in Hakone. ok I live in tokyo. to get to hakone its a JR train to shinjuku, an odakyu train to hakone, an ancient train up a mountain, a gongola up the mountain a bit more, and then its a cable car ride to the top. (not to the top of fuji but hte location that I took this picture) all in all it meant waking up at 7 am to get to this location at around 11.

Do I need to go into an explanation of fuji? I think about everyone is aware that it is the largest and most famous volcano in Japan. yes you can climb to the top of Mt Fuji but not in winter. The objective is supposed to be to see the sun rise from Mt Fuji at least once in your life. In order to do that you walk aboubt 4/5 of the way up the mountain spend the night in what amounts to a shack and freeze any part of your anatomy you would like off and this is if you are climbing fuji in August....

Anyways, I will guess that this photo is about 100km away from fuji itself yet it still reigns the skyline without a doubt.

the thing is. im going to drive back out to fuji at 3:30 am tomorrow but will be comming at fuji from the other side and hope to get some better sunrise and or sunset photos of fuji.

NOTE:
this is actually 2 photos stiched together in photoshop cs.
