Photographer's Note

The Wat Kalayanamit Temple with its orange ochre roofs located on the Thonburi riverside will catch ones attention while cruising the Chao Phraya River. It is one of the many temples that dot the Bangkok landscape. According to historical writings, the temple was built by Rama III, a member of the Thai monarchy in the first half of the nineteenth century, a time when trade with China was at its peak.
