Photographer's Note

Hello friends and visitors!
I present to you a photo of Speicherstadt, the old port of Hamburg.
For more information on this site, you can read the comment I made in another picture ...

This are the appearance of buildings, all aligned and contiguous. The walls are brick "clinker." The roofs are well-crafted details, and are sometimes copper.
All buildings have a crane, because once the boats were unloaded here, and items stored in buildings.
Today, in this zone, there are museums, offices of import and export, and wholesale trade.

The warehouse is on the Approximately 26 hectares (including the canals) of the former Elbe islands Kehrwieder Wandrahm and, for a length of about 1.5 km wide and 150-250 meters in the northeastern port of Hamburg. It stretches from the tip and the Kehrwieder Sandtorh鐪t in the west to the former Teerhof Oberbaumbrcke in the east. Will it only with the five major canals ...

One can spend hours and days just on this site to appreciate its beauty, and breathe the air of history!

I like a lot, and I hope you too!
Abel
