Photographer's Note

Gramvoussa is a set of two small islands northwest of Crete: the islands of Irimi Gramvoussa (Gramvoussa quiet), and Agria Gramvoussa (Gramvoussa wild) Due to its strategic location, Gramvoussa was fortified by the Venetians, who built a castle at the top in 1582. Opposite the island of Gramvoussa is the beautiful beach of Balos
