Cardinal del Monte Fountain - Gualdo Tadino
Valuable stone structure made by the sculptor Michelangelo Lucesole from San Pellegrino di Gualdo between 1513 and 1525 by the will of Cardinal Antonio Ciocchi Del Monte who resided at the Rocca Flea from 1513 to 1533. He was responsible for the construction of the aqueduct of Valdigorgo (Santo Marzio) and the construction of high public fountains.
The fountain has four metal mouths in the shape of a dragon's head. In the central part, between the vents, there is the coat of arms of Cardinal del Monte. The construction material is local travertine.
