Photographer's Note

Punta La Marmora: at 1834m (6015ft) it is the highest peak in the Gennargentu Massif in Barbagia, the central region of Sardinia. We arrived just in time for lunch, but as you can see I wasnt the first. Thats the mountain guide on the right. Interesting to see he thought it was cold enough for his coat, while I was sweating in a T-shirt. Its all down to the effort needed to get there.
