Photographer's Note

The Forlandsundet is a very shallow water between the Prins Karls Forland and the mainland Spitsbergen. It is absolutely pleasant there, because all the big Atlantic waves are shielded off. Between Murraypynten and Sarstangen the sea is only 10m deep (between underwater rocks). I would not recommend an amateur skipper to pass there...
