Photographer's Note

This picture was taken at the isle of Runde, Norway.
Runde is a small isle, linked by a bridge to the mainland, which is home for hundreds of thousands seabirds, which go there every year from may to august, including puffins, gannets, razor-bills, skuas, eagles, cormorans, fulmars, seagulls, and I'm sure I have forgot some others.
In particular Runde's cliffs host the largest puffin colony in Norway, about two hundred thousand couples.
It is possible to do boat tours around the isle, which are the best way to spot the birds, as the cliffs are very high and steep. Puffins in particular are visible and can be approached closely also from the top of the cliffs, as they dig a hole on the ground to make the nest.
The picture shows a magic sunset, and a ferry in the distance, against Runde's cliff.
