Photographer's Note
The Briksdalsbreen glacier is easily reachable by car and by a short hike. As it is getting smaller and smaller, it is still very impressive, and it can be approached paying attention to the possible danger of falling ice.

ciao Stefano,
mi piace molto il taglio che esalta il bicromatismo roccia/ghiaccio.
ottima l'idea di includere la presenza umana per dare "la misura" delle dimensioni

Hi Stefano,
A fantastic view of the glacier, with the blue/white ice contrasting nicely with the rocky foreground. The image would mean nothing without the inclusion of the boy, as he provides perspective of size. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Really good contrasts between colours (blue/red) and subject (human/nature). Of course, the boy is located in the right place of the picture, giving the scale of this smaller and smaller glacier.

Hello Stefano,
Amazing that a litlle spot of red can do so much to a picture in most circumstances. This boy is perfectly placed in front of the blue. He also helps us understand the dimensions of the glacier.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Stefano,
Superb capture of this wonderful scene, inclusion of the young boy is a masterful stroke, the way his red jacket contrasts against the colours of the glacier makes for a striking image.
Impressive image

Hello Stefano,
Without the man in red, it would have been difficult to imagine the real dimension of the blue ice. With it, there is a strong color effect and moreover a strong scale effect due to the big size of the glacier.
The framing is efficient as well the global composition.
Yves.

Hello Stefano,
Amazing blue tone! A boy placed at the below right makes this glacier stand out bigger. It seems to me you have a potential for removing the other head behind the rock. Still definitely an attractive shot.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

Ciao Stefano!
This photograph is wondeful, with excellent technical qualities, however what mostly attracts me is the fact that you composed it by placing that boy over there, thus giving a pretty sense of scale for that glacier! Pretty nice! Pleasant and eye-catching at the most!
TFS - Congratulations!

Hello Stefano,
This photo wouldn't be so effective without that little boy with a red jacket. Now we can see how big that ice really is.
Great colors and composition.
Well done!

Hello Stefano
What I like in this composition is the contrast between the strenght of the blue glacier and the weakness of the small but red person. A good scale to see how big is the glacier.

Ciao Stefano,
Ciao, Paolo

Ciao Stefano,
This is amazing, unreal! Amazing color of the ice, and thanks to the boy we can imagine the size of the glacier. Hope to visit a place like this someday and experience the excitement of standing in front of a nature miracle like this one :)

Hi Stefano,
Glacier blue is amazing colour. And melting ice creates interesting forms, scale is impossible to detect without closer look. Red shirt is a perfect detail over there.
(Somehow I've missed your gallery, I need to have a closer look.)

Excellent shot, Stefano, this red figure, though small, plays such a big role here by adding much interest, color contrast, and sense of scale. Terrific!

Hi Stefano
This came up in your random shots and it caught my eye. The blues in the ice are beautiful and having the young lad at just the right spot with a red shirt was a bonus. Perhaps he was a family member??
