Photographer's Note

It is one of the most recognizable monuments of Wroclaw. Fountain with Fencer on pl. Uniwersyteckim is one of the favorite meeting places for students and landmarks.
It was designed by Hugo Lederer, a professor at the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts. In November 1904, she stood at Uniwersytecki Square.

W Gdansku jestem tylko przejazdem ale chciałam zobaczyc ECS. Pamiętam dawne czasy, byłam naprawdę zainteresowana. Warto zwiedzić.

Wow, the statue on top of the fountain is lit fantastically by the sun here. Especially because the fa蓷de behind it is in the shadows, the statue gets a wonderful silver glow around it, which stands out perfectly. Very good light management and clarity.

mi piace questa statua, non avrei mai pensato che fosse stata fatta nel 1904, pensavo molto dopo, intorno al 1950.
Bella la statua, bella la fontana, bella anche la facciata che fa da fondale e, infine, bella la tua foto.

Hello Janusz,
I recognize this fountain and you had a good idea of how to take a nice photo here. The two persons standing on each side form a fine triangle with the statue and inject a lot of life into the view. In a photo art or a monument with people is always more interesting than art or a monument without people. The fine light and sharpness is also important.

Sun gives excellent backlight on the statue and illuminates water sprays perfectly. People on each side complement excellent triangular composition. And architecture of the background looks good too.

A very well lit fountain with good sharpness. I particularly like the light showing up the water droplets. The human interest works well for the composition.
