Photographer's Note

I'm almost finishing my little series, but here's a wider view of the place.
After a long rainy winter, the rain has been falling almost without stop for the last few weeks. For that reason, the Alqueva, the biggest artifficial lake in Europe and the biggest dam in Western Europe had to open its spillways a few days ago, as it was reaching its maximum.
I took this photo on the 6th april, but on the 1st the spillways were releasing around 1600 cubic meters per second in the Guadiana River. The place became a big attraction these last days, for the Portuguese and also for the Spanish, as it's not that far from the border.
