And here's a view of the old part of Terena and its castle.
Terena is an old and beautiful village, situated near Alandroal. Close to its castle, there are a few streets with very beautiful traditional houses, most part of them decorated with flower pots and from the castle the landscape around is simply amazing!

Hello Ana,
I like this very picturesque town located on the top of gentle hill. The POV you chose is great to show the most of the panorama with the castle dominating the whole composition and the rest of the town setting contrasting patch for the green hill and bright blue sky.

Bonjour Ana,

Un tr鋊 beau point de vue sur la ville et ses fortifications. On est peut-皻re un petit peu loin du sujet, mais cela permet d'appr嶰ier la campagne autour. Le ciel est superbe.

A beautiful scene, I think I can see the curve of the earth in this, which adds to the magic of it. That sure looks like an impressive castle, and the red roofs of the buildings are beautiful against that vivid blue sky. This looks really beautiful, such lovely light and colors.

This is, as you say yourself, really an amazing landscape indeed. The rolling green hills, the wast blue sky and the old ch漮eau, together with the whitewashed town, they truly form a gorgeous vista. Looking out of my window and seeing the grey sky and the rain, this is so soothing to the eye.

I love the balanced exposure, compo, the soothing colour and its combination throughout as we really can enjoy the wide view of the landscape full of details with main interest cleverly placed with additional interest around to anchor the eyes. This is a great view of the pretty village, the impressive castle and the fine surroundings. It was obviously a wonderful day and the colours are very good. Maybe the thick clouds on the horizon indicated a change of the weather.

Hi Ana,

A beautiful village indeed, even from this distance. :) It looks so far away, but if feels so close. This composition greatly enhances the long stretch and layout of both the village and the landscape, and I enjoy the abundance of sky for this shot..there's a strong sense of open space and fresh air. Although a traditional horizontal format, this appears much like a panorama, the effect is well rendered. This wide perspective also helps put into context the size of the castle in relation to the town, quite impressive to say the least. A lovely view upon Terena! Have a great week ahead.

Landscape scenery well divided on pic. space, Ana.
The big fort was guaring the local's who lived on the white houses alongside's, in old days, and now an attraction toi bring tourists.
Wonderful blue over green, well applied. Amazing as noted.

and that castle looks fantastic too, what a subject to have in and around the town.
