Quite a mood making photo here. Lovely. Seems like a waterfall or snow avalanche is make a downward burst, the fog has streaks. Always so wonderful to come across a special scene like this - and have one's camera with you. Very Well Done - David

Good work in being able to see the photographic potential in this one. I think most people would simply walk on past this scene and miss the moment, but not you. the dead tree adds so much to the shot, love the dark trunks and the contrasting light beams up top. top quality shot

Beautiful photo of these sun rays visible in the fog, silhouettes of trees look like dramatically posed actors on stage

Bonjour Nicolas, quite magical!
The light on the left is so bright that we can only guess at what is actually there, and that contrasts beautifully with the dark tree trunks in the foreground.
You have such a good eye for this type of scene.

A magical lighting here, the rays of the sun are wonderful and the contrast with the snowy dark cliffs at right is wonderful. The silhouettes of the autumn trees stand out well.

wow, this is a very impressive effect!
The sun is passing through the dense fog leaving yellow rays for you to record.
That play of the fog and light at the back is well contrasted with pin sharp trees in the foreground.
They contribute interesting silhouettes, some of them being diagonal...

Bonjour Nicolas,

It is so easy to be mistaken by this photograph, which makes even more interesting!
At first, I thought the snow was avalanching and causing the tree to fall!
Full size, we can tell that the sunlight is playing games with the mist, creating shafts of light!
It is obvious how closely you observe what is around you!

Good sharpness and excellent graphism of contrasting dark and light tones. The fog adds mood and atmosphere. I like the subtle warm cold color contrasts. Tfs!
