Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

If you have been following my recent posts, you will know that the site we visited had both an abbey museum and a needle forge museum on the same site.

Looking at the lamppost, with its directional information, was a useful guide as well as an interesting feature to photograph.

This may look a bit like a blue hour shot. It's not.
The sun was in a bad place for taking good photographs of the needle mill so I tried to hide it behind the lamppost. That, incidentally, gave the impression that the lamp was lit!

I had to apply a little brightness to the red-brick mill, which was really in shadow.
