Photographer's Note

This is The Quiraing, on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. I first saw this place over 20 years ago. It blew me away then as it does every time I see it. It is probably one of the most beautiful areas I've ever hiked and has all the charm and drama the Scottish Highlands can offer. The loop is about 7kms long and can comfortably be done in a couple of hours. I didn't walk the entire way as I'm a fat sloth, but sat on the edge of the cliffs and just stared in wonder at the changing light and weather conditions. If you ever visit Scotland, this place is a must-see.

The title refers to the fact that I had packed very badly for a Scottish/Irish summer. Never underestimate Scottish weather.
