Photographer's Note

This is a Coranic School in Shiraz, Southern Iran.
It is a place where student live and study. I had a nice explanation about the place from one of the students, who just wanted to chat with me.
It is a sort of high school, after which they can decide to continue religious studies or just do something else.
Women are not allowed in the place, not even as visitors.

From the strictly photographic point of view, recently I am more and more actracted by wide angle povs.
They allow to get into the scene, also showing everything around. I noticed for example that most of the reportage images in National Geographys, which personally I consider the reference in photography, are taken with wide angle lens. So this is a 10 mm focal length view. Being a keen tele user, this is a major change for me !
