Photographer's Note

Like from the Christian Andersen's fairy tales of the Thousand and One Night. Temples carved into the rocks, Temples from one piece of a stone, Temples like created in a moment by heavenly forces released by a single Aladin's magic word. The City of Petra. When passing through a narrow gap between two rocks, which could be well defended by one man, suddenly you stay in front of a Temple lit by the morning sun. And then follow several kilometers of temples, ruins, amphiteatres, graves and houses. All carved in the rock. This is Petra, the most spectacular remnants of a city of ancient traders.
