Photographer's Note

I am on the move again. Right now, I am surfing the net during my very long layover at Toronto Pearson International Airport (IATA code: YYZ) en route to Istanbul to visit family I have not seen since the summer of 2011. Very early this morning, I took an Air Canada Express Jazz flight out of Pittsburgh. Late this evening, I will take an Air Canada flight to Istanbul. Although I have a very long layover, I opted to stay at the airport terminal since I am a nervous wreck when I travel by air. I would not enjoy sightseeing in Toronto in between flights, even on a fine summer day. When we landed in a squall this morning (which the locals call "nothing"), I made up my mind not to leave the airport, (although by now the sun is out).
I do not know how reliable internet connections will be at my sister's place where I will be staying, I might be out of touch for a while. I plan to return home on March 15. I plan to take a few photos in Istanbul which I will be happy to share when I get back.

Hi Murat,

The length of the hall is giving depth to the composition. The presence of the people is adding life to the scene. The point of view is showing the d彋ails and the colours of this area of the YYZ terminal. I hope you have a pleasant flight to Istabul.

Well, at least you're making good use of your time at the airport. :) This is quite a nice corridor, and makes for a lovely opportunity to utilize perspective and form. Something we can all relate to, the comings and goings of traveling. The flag is neatly paced within the composition as a solid focal point. Looking forward to pictures from your trip. have good time with your family in Turkey.
It愀 been 10 years since I was on this airport.
I like airports and photo opportunity they provide.
You did really good job here presenting us the architecture of Lester B.Pearson airport.
PS.I惻l be one day in Istanbul on March 26 on my way to Dubai.

Hi Murat,
An interesting note and a fine picture of this place. The curved lines along the ceiling are good and so are the angles formed by the supporting beams. Some people are trying find their gates and meanwhile, they add some colours to the scene.

The man that the completely world has seen.
I am no traveller and has nothing seen in the world, alone with pictures of other people.
Colours and structure make these picture attractive.
Excellent composition, excellent captured with depth and perspective in these airport hall.

By the time reading this you probably be in Istanbul, enjoy your stay. Very close to Israel, only 90 minutes flight by Turk-Hava-Yoleri.
Airports are a fantastic place to see people on the move, each to diff. destination - I spend times till flights to guess where people go.
Nice taken indoor's, DOF and clarity under good light.
