Photographer's Note

A boat with no water... gone to Fiddler's Green.

This was my first day out with a deep red filter for black and white, and I was impressed with what it did for the sky. I was using the contrasty Ilford Delta 100, because I was a teenager, and all teens love high contrast and dramatic skies, don't they?

I rented a Nikon neg scanner recently to digitize all my old photos, so there will be some from the vault in the next while. The resolution of neg scanners over full page scanners is incredible... I will never scan without a proper scanner again.
