Photographer's Note

The Fort Langley Dock is adjacent to a little ferry terminal that takes vehicle and foot passengers across the Fraser River. The odd fishboat ties up here as well, but since the decline of the great salmon runs, there are fewer such boats seen on the river. The Fraser traditionally has had the largest salmon runs in North America, but excessive fishing and changing ocean conditions have reduced these spawning migrations considerably.
