Photographer's Note

Driving around Lake Cowichan was quite an adventure. At one point past the town of Lake Cowichan, the highway becomes dirt, there are no houses, no humans. All you can see is logging grounds everywhere, and trucks carrying the logs. Halfway through the south bank, we took a detour, we thought we were lost, our GPS was silent, it was getting dark, and we didn't want to drive at night in the wild of Vancouver Island. But finally, to our relief, we found our way back to Victoria.
