Photographer's Note

The Britannia Shipyards in Steveston, British Columbia, were once thriving with boat construction. Now this is a museum, given over to tourists in summer and ducks and river rats in winter. Steveston itself is still the home of a fishing fleet, which until World War II was dominated by Japanese Canadians.
