Photographer's Note

Apparently, the two guys who accompanied me on this hike thought it was easy... but I was dying. It took about two hours to climb all the way up to the peak of cypress mountain in West Vancouver, and since I am very uncoordinated and clumsy by the time we reached the top I have cuts and scrapes all over my legs and elbows... but I`ll tell you this, it was worth it. The view was incredible, and looking to the north, the direction the picture was taken, was magnificent because you could see numerous mountains stretched out before you, they just seem to go on and on. The rocky mountains have always just been a part of my life, growing up in the greater Vancouver area, but I really appriciated them from this aspect. On the way down, we passed two older ladies who were climbing briskly and seemed to be much better off than me! obviously I need to get out to the mountains more!
