Photographer's Note

Cypress Falls Park is located in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. A hiking path takes you into a grove of large and magnificent Cedar and Douglas Fir trees, some of which are 200 to 300 years old. Since this area has been logged in the last 100 years, a combination of old growth and new generation trees stand side by side.

I used an ultra wide angle lens to capture the grandness of the forest. The human subject at the bottom of the tree gives a sense of scale.
