Photographer's Note
A typical desert inhabitant, spotted near Zabriskie Point, in the Death Valley. During the day, when the sun is high and temperature raises above 45 Celsius, these are the only signs of life you can see in this area.

Howdy Stefano,
Fine zoom view, detailing the erosion details of the clay hills at Zabriskie Point, and a blue human for scale and color contrast.
Well done,
Cheers,
Ray

Hello Stefano,
I was thinking the native americans were differently dressing ;-)
Efficient composition with the person placed at the right point in the frame and then with no more elements to make the scale on this without sky landscape. I guess the impact is higher like this, without the sky.

Hello Stefano,
The figure in blue is nicely placed in the frame and adds an important bit of bright colour to the more gently coloured rocks. The shapes, which I imagine are due to erosion, are fabulous. Excellent exposure and sharpness.

Great composition and a very nice frame building. But this time I think that the light was too much in advance. Very flattened images. I do not feel these inequalities.
All the best!

Hi Stefano,
I love the textural quality of this image, the blue clothed photographer in the foreground gives impact to the almost bland colour of the rock, great DOF.
Best regards
Iain.

Hi Stefano
effective composition this, it is evocative and makes quite a powerful statement. Love the feeling of desolation broken only by the solitary figure. Executed perfectly and an imaginative presentation.
Enjoy the weekend - best wishes Brian.

Hi Stefano
Its a great composition to present this wonderful place. The inclusion of people here is vital. It only did not give the scale, it also gave contrast in color. Great capture of the dead hill. Have a great day,

Ciao Stefano,
one of my favorite places. I love deserts.
Great capture here the texture of the rocks is amazing and so are the colors in spite of the harsh light conditions. Good idea to include a photographer it tells about the scale of the place.
Wonderful photo!

Ciao Stefano,

Ciao Stefano
Your frames of minimalism are a lesson for any photographer...definitely for me! Amazing scene with the lady in blue lumbering her way through the hot & unfriendly rocks. The zoomed & tight view of this hostile terrain works well covering the frame...makes me wonder her destination beyond the rocks!
Fine work indeed!
Best Regards
Angshu
