And here's my last post of the Umbrella Sky Project this year, just to show you a different view of this street.
For the second year the little town of 縵ueda was decorated with colourful umbrellas. More than 3000 have been hung with wires, bringing so much colour and also visitors to the city. The ground gets some really nice shadows, too.
They will be there till September.

Still charming ~ love them all. How nice it would be to have a cup of tea or a glass of wine under this sky of umbrellas, it must feel quite magical :)

In some Mexican villages the main street is covered with carpets of flowers during certain events, but I had never seen something like this. It is nice and colorful.

questa avente a soggetto la distesa di ombrelli mi piace pi� della precedente perch� hai saputo valorizzare molto bene questa copertura cos� originale e ricca di infiniti colori.
Anche l'altra, ad essere sinceri era bella nella sua essenzialit�, ma nella sua stilizzazione non rendeva l'idea della festa che si svolge nel borgo.
Bravissima in ogni caso per entrambe le foto ( e forse ne vedremo delle altre..).

Looks like a great place to stroll as the splash of colourful umbrellas have provided a cool shades there and doubtless its a visually stunning and passionate warmth of colours all round. This is another installment of the beautiful, colorful Umbrella Sky, rendered most skillfully. As I was looking at it, I wondered how it would look if everything but the umbrellas were B&W. So, I took a crude crack at it and will upload it to the workshop. I'm interested to read what you think.

Ola Ana, This close up of all the colourful umbrella looks really amazing. They had fantastic idea of such a decorations. Haven for photographers, pleasant shadow in hot day.

yes, we will never get tired of seeing such photos, post an many as you want!

from this composition it looks as if the umbrellas continue for infinity. and obviously because of the compo i like how they get larger and wider at the top.

Looking at it, I wonder how it would be during the Blue Hour!

the other one was my favourite but this one is very interesting too. I like how the umbrellas are crowded here. Very interesting and unexpected effect on a street. The umbrellas obviously add a lot of color here.

Excellent idea to photograph the sky with all these colourful umbrellas. I remember there was once a movie decades ago about the umbrellas in Cherbourg. Good photo job

I had to go back and write you about this beautiful picture, the last one from your marvellous Umbrella Sky Project series. It's a very special image with which you've managed to present in a superb way the installation and its effect on the look and atmosphere of the urban scenery. Depth and sharpness are so effective and the colourful graphical "ceiling" contrasts with and complements the shady and plain setting below. There's mesmerising vibrancy and sense of movement as if the deliciously coloured umbrellas were flying over the streets of the town. Congratulations and thank you!

Wonderful presentation of event. I love the way you showed crazy interesting perspective created by umbrellas. I'm fan of sun not big fan of shadows ha ha so this photo scares me a little bit lol.
