Blumau is Hundertwassers biggest project in the shape of the model for an ideal city resting on the principle of harmony between man and nature. It is a hotel complex across a 35 hectare site. The living areas are in the folds of the rolling grassy hills, which serve both as filtering humus roofs and as walks. The architectural morphology is inspired by the model of architecture created by Hundertwasser, parallel to his painting , and in which he gives fee rein to his imaginative fantasy.
