Workshop Note

A mother and child in the main street of Leh. I am not sure that cows walking in a street necessarily mean a presence of Hindus, even though I suppose there were also Hindus living in primarily Buddhist Ladakh. But in Leh there was a fairly smooth transition from city streets to countryside roads. Farmyards were just around the corner.
