Congratulations to this fantastic photo! It looks like a postcard from Swiss Alps. I bet it could have been tricky to get a good POV or crop to get rid of any modern and/or ugly building, while mantaining a good composition. I love every single thing about this photo!

Dear Konrad, the photo is very nice, the waterfall is just beautiful! But you should have watched the highlights on the snow a bit - by the long exposition, all details on the snow are gone and it looks extremeley flat, unnatural and ugly. If possible, try to reprocess the photo with decreasing exposition or otherwise restoring the snow part and upload it as a workshop photo. I guess that would be a worth a view.

I´ve been to Rysy lakes, but never on the mountain top. The view is fantastic, but for a photo, I´d like to see tops of the opposite peaks to get a better sense of the depth of the valley. But still, it´s pretty good! I like the natural colors and fine shades, it gives very realistic impression. Best regards, Adrian

Ciao Alberto, I am not a big fan (quite the contrary) of HDR photos, but here you made a pretty decent work. The colors are on the edge between real and surreal (esp. on the left building) and together with the composition it makes the photo look like a some kind of an industrial/post-modern dream. Maybe if you took a shot of this scenery without the sunlit building, this impression would be even stronger. I can´t help myself - the bright sunlit patch disturbs me very much, it just screams out from the otherwise homogenous color range of the image. But this is of course my subjective feeling, as far as I see, other critics feel just the opposite about it :-) Nevertheless, it is good photo, it´s of the few that made me look and think about it for more than just a few seconds! Hi Martin, congratulations to this photo. This is a POV I haven´t seen before and a spot of Piestany I haven´t been before (even though I am there very often but mostly for business purposes only). I love the colors and the overall feeling of the photo. I agree with Albrecht, some of the hilites are overexposed, but otherwise I like very much how the photo was processed. The composition is pretty good too, it makes me want to take a stroll on that pathway! BR Adrian
