Before this post, I paid no attention to the term "COPYRIGHT". From this topic, I learned something. Today, I found some interested information by Brad Templeton that I would like to share: 10 Big Myths about copyright explained Hope it gives all of us some hints... Good luck, CL

We owe you million thanks to help us contribute a tiny thing to poor people that you reported. We are glad that you returned safely from such a trip. The result you are telling us is beyond our expectation. Please accept my green smiling face in lieu of sign of my respect toward your achievement. Regards,

You have captured a great moment from the kid's vision. Looks to me she had to fight to have her meal, and she would fight again to protect it, at any cost. It's the hunger that prompts us to lose humanity, and this became spindle of pocily that was best used by the Vietnam government against the former officers of recent regime in their so-called re-education camps.

To the photographer's nephew: “Uncle, it's unwise to take such a trip when you become the first ever unwelcome guest among a Vietnamese community like Chong Kneas! And had I knew this dangerous situation, I am sure I didn’t accept your invitation.” Your statement is a two-fold one: - Had you and your uncle been murdered and the $900 been taken away, you are correct. - Since you and him escaped all danger and imposibility and returned with "mission accomplished", he was stupid enough to gain success. Whatever term you prefer, congratulations for your once-in-a-lifetime trip. Besides residents of the village, you and him are the only outside travelers to have such experience and actual view of this evening scene. Regards,

Thanks for today picture and notes. I have not flown Pacific, but Vietnam Airlines many times since before 2006, they were the monopolized company and travelers have no other choice. To be frank, I have not encountered any problem. Reading your notes, I searched for additional feebbacks on this government-controled company, I am not sure if I will have the courage to use it again. Some sad findings: 1- "HCMC to Nha Trang, and it was a nightmare. The flight itself was fine, but it was when we tried to board that the ticketing agents said our tickets were not valid because our middle names weren't printed on our boarding tickets. After much arguing and talking to the manager (who was in on the scam), they said they could reissue our tickets at the cost of US$35 per person - in cash, of course. We were on a tight schedule and the flight was ready to leave (the only one that day) so we had no choice but to pay the fee (for 4 tickets) for them to "reissue" the tickets. When they gave us the new tickets, our names were all misspelled and definitely did not match our passports. Apparently, this was not a problem for boarding; they already had our money. I don't want to say why this happened, but it was definitely not a language issue as we speak both English and Vietnamese." (By V Tan, 01-26-2007). 2- "My wife and I traveled recently on Vietnam Airlines from Vientiane, Laos to Hanoi. When we arrived in Hanoi, we discovered they had not brought any luggage with them on the flight. Every passenger on the plane had to complete a lost luggage report. Now, two days later, we are still without our luggage and the customer service people at Vietnam Airlines have not been able to tell us when we might see our bags again. We have had to change our travel plans, at our own expense, and are still uncertain whether we will ever see our luggage. Within Vietnam, we have to fly Vietnam Airlines. However for international flights, I would strongly recommend using another carrier." (By Hank Angert, 12-17-2006). 3- "Flight home was a disaster. Again - both mine and my husbands in flight entertainment didnt work - there was no apologies - just a "too bad" attitude. The food was very ordinary - the staff were rude on the PAR - Hanoi leg of flight. When we arrived in Hanoi all luggage was missing - including baby food, formula, nappies etc. The gave us USD30 each to buy what we need and couldn't tell us when bags would arrive. I will never fly them again!" (By E McDonald, 11-27-2006). More complaints about aircraft's WC and its cleanliness can be found here. Good luck!

Not only after looking at this one again and closely, I found out that you realloy got down sp close to what you wanted to follow Robert Capa's advice. Most of the photos of terraced fields have been captured from afar and above. Here you made a decent approach. Thank you.
