Wonderful scenery Nikolay! This picture is very reminescent of scenes in Northern Canada. I like the way the road adds perspective the scene - drawing our eye down to the harbour. Thanks for sharing this and your other wonderful pictures! David

Justin - a unique viewpoint over this old city and a very effective one. Given the recent violent history, this shot is even more relevant. I wondered if a bit more colour/contrast would help the picture but on trying it I thought your original was just fine. David

This is just beautiful, Philippe - the scene has a sense of serenity that is very reminescent of the great landscape painters. I tried a crop to take out the smaller building on the left but it ruined the whole perspective of your shot.

Hi Per, Didn't realize you were on TE as well. I like the perspective of the tower against the sky and while the sharpening works wel on the stones it's a bit too much on the leaves. Have you tried switching to Lab Colour mode and sharpening only on the Lightness layer - seems to tolerate more sharpening without getting the artifacts. Good to catch up with you!

This almost monochromatic effect is great Efi - and a very unique view of the ship too! Never tried a cruise despite great pressure from 'she who must be obeyed' - maybe next year.

Very effective! This has a surreal quality - I expect to see the Lady of the Lake from the Arthur legend rising from the lake!

Great mood but I think a little more detail in the foreground would be OK.
