A superb breath taking shot(excuse the pun)and a great story. It was definately worth the pain and hero like effort. Thanks for going to so much trouble to tell us this story. Your efforts were well rewarded to see a view so stunning.

Was there a reason you didn't get the base of the building in shot? I think it would look much better if you had done so, you did have room at the top to point your camera done a little to include the base. I also think it could be a little straighter by rotating it slightly counter clockwise. It is an interesting building and well exposed, if your local you could go back for another shot.

I do like this, however I agree about the feather, if you could have moved around to your left half a step you probably would have got a better angle. This is easy to say sitting in front of the PC we weren't there! I think the flash is providing more light than fill in, though none of this stops me enjoying the image, so as far as I am concerned its a success. I don't mind his eyes being closed at all. We can sometimes let technical critique stop us enjoying an image. regards Bill

A nice idea and framed really well, I would have liked the point of focus to have been on the little girl as opposed to the screen, or the little girl even more out of focus. As it is the girl makes it look just like a badly focussed shot. I agree about the contrast it is a bit hard. regards Bill

To me this is a really humorous shot, spoiled by lack of sharpness. I think its your focus thats the problem. I've had a look at your other pictures and you do have an eye for a good picture, you just need to be a little more careful, and concentrate when taking the picture. regards Bill

Hi Bob, I think perhaps most people would get in close for this type of portrait shot, very glad you didn't. I think by showing us a little more of her surroundings you tell more of a story. I love the colours in her sahree and the joy on her face because of the interaction of mother and fairly new baby. great stuff, I know you don't like or care for the points but your getting them anyway. regards Bill

A well seen image, though I think I would clone out the number 280. Its distracting from the overall composition, you probably didn't know it ws there when you took it, I've done it myself. Photoshop to the rescue
