I've seen this place in Osaka, too. Good composition but the trees were a bit distracting. A different angle without the trees would have been better.

Interesting storefront. I think it would have been better to wait until there was a break in the cars so you could get a better view.

Japanese love karaoke. What you should really say is Japanese take Karoke VERY SERIOUSLY!! Go into any of the bars that you hear that stuff playin from an sing a few lines...go on i dare ya, if you can sing, they will love you...if you cant...be afraid, very afraid...good men have died for less...

I really like the contrast of the green moss with the blue of the monk's robes; the pattern of the wall with the solid colour of the robes. Pity about the water fountain! I think the only thing I would do differently would be to tone down the blue or violet tone to the photo, and darken the foreground a bit. Lovely though, striking.

Might want to rotate the verticals so that they are verticals. Otherwise I like it. Visually interesting typical Japanese street scene. Good.

Well, It could beter without obtrusive bykes on the right and the green box on the left ... I.e it could be taken a few moments earlier ...
