Admiro tu trabajo Emile.

quote-Hi Gerrit, you captured a nice moment with the man and his long shadow, the scene of the little boys playing together, and the colourful wall of these old houses. All brings this nice composition. The light has also the feeling of the moment. Best regards Jaume quote- Is this constructive? why not to advise Gerrit like Emile does? we're here to help each other and improve our skills.

Nice colors and contrast. I noticed the horizon is curved (deeper in the middle) and also there is a black line from the left to the center. Nice pov.

I think Dario writes poetry in this description. One critic is saying that the image would be better without the woman's legs..but..the photo is about her too! When people talk about the 3/4 rule..does this rule really applies to every shot? can we have a little more freedom in the name of the art called photography? I like architecture and this image satisfies me. The only thing I would improve is saturation of the pink color. Great shot and great poetry describing it.

I grew up in Santa Barbara and I know this church since we played baseball in a small piece of land in calle Mella back in the 60's. This shot is excellent with and without the foreground leaves. Since you elimanated the wires in front of the church...why didn't you clone the electric poles and wires on both sides? also if you clone the tip of the palm tree's branch on the top right and the small piece of branch top left this image would be better. Since the critics are divided about the foreground leaves I suggest you make two versions, one without the leaves to see how it would look. This is a great comp regardless and I love it.
