Excellent composition here. The foreground pool of water provides great interest. My only critique that I have is that throughout the image overall there is very strong magenta/cyan color cast especially in the water. I'd consider toning that down in order to better separate the elements in your image.

Beautiful layers in this one. They are really the focal point of this excellent image. If it were mine I'd consider cropping the blue band of color on the top of the image as I find it distracts my eyes away from the layers below.

Hi Jamie Congrats on your new D300. I just picked up mine a few weeks ago. Nice mixture of warm and cool colors. The ND8 really brings out the deep orange color of the clouds. Some of the trees above the houses look a tad too warm to me, but I'm being picky now. Good work overall. Look forward to seeing more. Mike

Hello Christophe A better photo than points given. The bright yellow leaf is a nice detail in the foregound. I would like to see all of the first rock in the foregroud. The fact that it is cut off is too abrubt for me. The greens and water color and temperature are spot on. Overall nice work! Mike

Hi Adam I think I like this one better than the other as well. There is something magical about trees and mist. The detail and sharpness is well rendered and hte sapling adds a very nice contrast. As always, keep up the good work!

Hi Jon I like this shot with the coast in the back ground lit up by the setting sun. I'm a little jealous of you guys in the UK. You have so much beautiful coast line to explore. The only thing that bothers me in this shot is the stone on the right being slightly cut off. If both stones were fully included in the frame I think that would make it for me. I'm curious do shoot RAW? What kind of LEE filters do you use - Hard or Soft and which ones did you use for this shot? TFS! Mike
