Hey this is a good one! Sorry I didn't notice it (but really I don't spend much time on TE at all - I'm busy living it up over with that less sophisticated crowd on TL! Haha.) Here you have paid attention to all of the essential elements and I think it's a competently-taken photograph. The horizon sits level and at a 1/3rd point of the frame, giving plenty of space to the sky. You've chosen a suitably small aperture for depth of field - it's all nicely sharp and the saturation is excellent. Placement of the rock and shoreline is also good. Now ... where's my swimmin' shorts? I'm going in!! Rew

I've been through Tarlac - city, and province. It's beautiful there, the rice fields are breathtaking. Although as a 'foreigner' I was an item of interest too, it seemed. Good management of light here, good placement of the horizon in this shot (although it is a little bit skewed.) A very slight crop to remove the "half farmhand" on the extreme left might be good. Rew

Very sharp and clear shot, with excellent saturation too. I note you have placed elements such as the rock and the horizon dead-centre of the frame: it would be interesting to experiment more with composition and rule-of-thirds placement - perhaps the shot would look more dramatic and dynamic as a result? Nice work Rew

Hi David A great perspective on this famous landmark ... Haha, no I don't think Ray-Ban will consider this in line with their marketing plan, but it's a creative shot. It needs a tiny fraction of a rotation clockwise - 0.5 degrees? And I suspect a small boost in the red channel. Good work, though - I like it! Rew

Magaling Carol! I like the composition of this shot, the placement of the horizon and the position of the hut within your frame. These are the shots you do well. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Rew

I wonder if anyone ever reads this without thinking Lapu Lapu in the back of their minds? Hehe. Sharp and well metered Carol, I think this would look better still in high-contrast black and white! Rew

Beautiful! I love the textures here, very smooth and noise-free, and the effect of the blurred background is very spectacular. TFS Rew

Congratulations on some solid composition here Carol! All of your elements are here - the rule-of-thirds placement of the horizon, and the fact that it's nicely level. :) Sharp and well metered, too. I would argue that maybe it could have been zoomed more to exclude the ground and just capture the parachutist against the sky - wouldn't that be more dramatic? But a nice shot all the same, thanks for sharing. Rew
