A singularly most unattractive caterpillar but the adult butterfly is gorgeous. Good sharpness and lighting. The sharp spines look ominous to any would be predator. Tfs!

I hope you didn't suffer from altitude sickness. I got sick in Yunnan after ascending almost to the summit of the 12,000 feet / 4,000 metres high Cangshan Mts behind Old Dali. I was running around trying not to keep my mother waiting too long at the terminus. She was fine but I came over ill in the evening when safely back in Dali town. A spectacular view of Bogota btw. Tfs!

Initially my plan was to travel from Venice to Turin and down to Pisa then up to Genoa and on to the French Riviera, but locals convinced me to head back to Florence and get a bus / train combo instead through Pisa and on to Cinque Terre and Genoa. The people add scale here and the sharpness is impeccable. Tfs!
