I like the angled pov, & the fg stone arches nicely frame the bg stained glass window. Good lighting and sharpness. Tfs! |

I took a similar shot at the exact same spot. Brings back nice memories. Fantastic shot from Oia. The salmon pink belltower contrasts well with the blue sea. Merci pour ce partage. |

The gazelle looks realistic. So much so that I thought someone should call the RSPCA! (Société protectrice des animaux). The fish, less so, but still a terrific work of art and all made with sand. Amazing! Tfs! |

These amphorae appear to be prototypes of glass jars and bottles, which had already been developed by other ancient civilisations such as Egypt, but not by most of Greece. I seem to recall the Minoans who traded with Egypt did have some surviving glass ornaments and bottles on display in Iraklion Museum. Good repetition and emphasised by the bg photo display. Tfs! |

The colour of the sea at Cornwall compares very favourably with the Mediterranean. I once had someone from the North Sea area of northern France complain the colour of a shot of the sea from Greece was oversaturated. Obviously they only have the grey and sombre English Channel to compare with and probably had never been to any places where the sea really is this rich turquoise colour. Good perspective, colour and sharpness. Tfs! |

A cleverly constructed sculpture of the monkey with the mirror. No doubt the bishops from long ago ordered its removal but the original statue had a point that the bishops needed to self reflect occasionally otherwise they become detached from reality and become overly judgmental. Tfs! |
