To josepmarin: Hi Josep

Glad you share my view of NYC, where I was born and raised. My father worked in the Chrysler Building so it has special nostalgic appeal to me. Thanks for your kind words.

Re: Unauthorised use of an image as a desktop background

To gildasjan: Thanks for your kind words

Hi Gildas,

Thanks for your kind words. I just got back from Provence and a little Cezanne pilgrimage to find the sites where he painted. Now I can see why he "cut and pasted" in his paintings. I...

Re: Border or No Border?

Re: choosing "State" where photo was taken

Hi Tom, I had the same problem with Santorini in Greece. I found the "state" by locating other pix of Santorini on ET and looking to see what "state" they had assigned. Sure enough, when I chose it,...

To jurgen: re Marburg picture

Juergen, I cropped some very uninteresting corners of other buildings and shot the picture from the second floor up. There's a chocolate shop in the first floor (on the corner of Schlossteig and...

To worldcitizen: Chrysler Building

Thanks for your workshop. Actually, I did those things to prepare it for a painting, but left the original just to see what others thought. Thanks for your suggestions.
