none of those lenses would be the same unless they were on a full frame camera. that's a large part of the point. and 2 5Ds cost the same as 1 D3.

I don't believe that primes are for hobbiests at all. A zoom or prime doesn't make someone professional or not. But I want to challenge myself, stretch my limits are my comfort zone. I think...
