Default The stone makes it

Glad you like the shot. I think the stone in the shaded area really makes it; I remember thinking this might act as a focal point when making the composition. It leads the eye up to the long shadows of the figures. At first I thought the footprints might spoil it, but they are actually crucial to the "sand walkers" theme. The pale salt pan at the bottom of the dune seems to divide the torsos from their legs and gives the composition depth, IMHO.
