you know, I have a wood engraving of an american artist very famous for his New England marine paintings
He's named Gordon Hope Grant, maybe you know him
Exactly the same kind of painting that the present post
Boats, foggy atmosphere ...

Thank you for the nice comments and for the information about Gordon Hope Grant.
I did not know about this artist, so I searched on the web and found his watercolor paintings of marine subjects to be wonderful.
