Hi Barry !
An interesting presentation of the pier from an unusual perspective. B/W mode suits very well overall the scene. The image gives enough depth of field to the frame, and the folks walking along the track provide an extra reason to think about the well developed structure. I am just not sure if the pier also connects passengers to the cruise liners...?
Well done, thanks for sharing !

Hi Tomek,
Thanks for the feedback. Some more information on the jetty at Busselton: "The last commercial ship visited the jetty on 17 October 1971. On 21 July 1972, the jetty was closed to shipping by Governor's Proclamation in the W.A. Gazette after more than a century of use. Once closed, government maintenance of the jetty ceased and it began to deteriorate, suffering attack by wood borers, rot and the occasional fire." - Wikipedia The jetty has been restored and one can walk right up to the end, which is about 1.8km from the shore. Regards, Barry |
