Hello Stefano
And you're one of the sharks! As I was a couple of years ago. Oddly, I was a little shy of shooting masquers to begin with, but soon realised that it was expected and practically "de rigeur" to do so. I remember a couple of them wandering about looking for a cameraman at about 0600 in the morning! And it looks (if I've got my geography correct) that this was shot pretty early in the morning too. Lovely perspective, and that splash of red forms a great counterpoint to the gentler colours of the rest of the frame. Good work.
Regards
Will

Hello Will, yes I was one of the sharks ! But I haad some fun taking photos of the photographers more than the masks.
This was taken at around 9 a.m. when it was still "reasonably crowded". At noon the police men had to regulate the traffic making "one-way" streets for pedestrians. But it is funny that if you walk away from the main spots you can find yourself in places where absolutely nobody is around (and no masks of course) just few tens of meters from the chaos. Thank you for your visit. I don't come often on TE recently. Cheers Stefano |
