Default Lens Cleaning

Can someone please tell me whats the best way to clean lens without leaving smudge?
Is there a special cloth or lens cleaner that I can use?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Just use a normal lens cloth and pat at the lens, don't wipe.

I don't agree, if you pat, you won't remove anything. You'd better use circular wipe starting from the center and moving outside. But prior to clean the lens always remove particule by using a dust blower with a pencils so those particules won't scratch the lens when wiping it.

Patting works fine for me, all dust and other foreign specks come off fine.

I think maybe the climate you live in might make a difference. In Taiwan, where it is quite humid, you can get a film on the lens (humidity, pollution) that needs to be wiped. Personally, I love the LensPen.

My opinion:
1st: Always blow first, don't use your mouth ... you will spit inside... use a blower
2st: use soft cloth (not fur) or cleaning tissue/paper, use optical cleaning fluids... patt!

don't get nervous if at first time it looks worst than before the cleaning, it needs a firm hand, and you will see that the sensor is not that week... do it with firm hand!
