Great banyanman 2006-10-31 2:01

I saw a post of this by another TEer some months back, Khalid. Yours is different because you've gone for a much deeper DOF, which is very effective. It would have been great if you had a woman in a kimono walking towards you! Cheers . . . David

Default To banyanman: Kimono

Hi David,

Thanks for your useful note.

Regarding the a walking woman in a kimono, You are right.
I tried but my chances were almost zero.

Actually I saw a photo with the same idea (but a woman walking away) which inspired my to shot this one.
It was on the cover of the famous travel guide (Lonely Planet: Kyoto)
I tried to find the original copy of that photo online to show it to you but I couldn't.
But here is the cover image: http://shop.lonelyplanet.com/covers/174104085X_a.jpg

Maybe one day I'll take a friend wearing that kimono to help me.

Thanks Again David, and have a nice day.

Khalid
