the pictures generated by my camera range around 1.5 mb
is there an easy way to shirk them to 200 kb? i know i can do it using paint or something and shrink it but its too long thanks, |

I use Irfanview, can be downloaded for free.
There's an image, resize option where you scale down the dimension to the max allowed by Trekearth. be sure to change to 72 DPI. Then use the 'sharpen' option if you deem it necessary. Then file, save as...save as whatever u want but u may need to reduce the quality slightly at this stage (say from 100 to 97%). I'm sure there are many other ways, but that's what I do and it works for me. |

Hi,
I do the same (exept that i use Xnview) and don't know any easier way. You could also change your camera settings to match wath you want, but you won't then get HR pictures... Nico |
