hi miguel,
i have always liked the name miguel. infact, when i got my naturalization status, i was eagerly happy to add it as my second name in my documents---and only to be turned down-"it will be a long name for you" in the words of the INS official! now, i could only dream i were a miguel! feliz natal! beneidict

i am originally from the Philippines (southern city of Zamboanga). i migrated to these united states in 1989.
benedict means 'blessed' and miguel (michael, mikhail, mikayel etc) means 'right hand of jesus' if i am not mistaken.... have a safe and blissful christmas! benedict
